British Columbia’s curriculum focuses on honouring the influence of Canadian multiculturalism and sense of place on the ways students learn, think, and grow. Participants will explore the global language of mathematics through enculturation by integrating the six universal principles of Bishop’s Cultural Practices: Counting, Locating, Measuring, Designing, Playing and Explaining.
