In Canada, five-year teacher attrition is approximately 50%. I became concerned that as a teacher educator, I contribute to this situation. Can I better prepared pre-service teachers for the realities of their teaching assignments? This session will describe how I am changing my pedagogies by aligning my beliefs and practice.
