Place-conscious teaching and learning offers teachers, students, and schools opportunities to decolonize practice and develop social responsibility and agency. Our team will share how we have collaborated with local school districts to engage in place-conscious teaching and learning. Participants will leave with deeper understanding of place-consciousness as social justice practice.
